Albert Treffeisen, Sr. was a Forman building large steam boilers in New York during the late 1890's.
Albert Treffeisen, Jr. , Albert Sr.'s son, started A. Treffeisen Plumbing and Heating in 1923 doing primarly boiler and plumbing work in New York.
Albert, Jr.'s son, Wayne Treffeisen, grew up working with his father installing plumbing and HVAC. In 1968 the business was passed to Wayne and continued to succeed by adding 2 employees. In 1975 Wayne moved the family and business to Mt. Upton, New York and in 1982 moved to Oneonta, New York.
Wayne's sons, Kevin and Jamie Treffeisen also grew up working and learning the trade with their father and started fulltime in the early 1980's. The company continued to grow with the sons, expanding to include the Electric trade and today we have almost 30 employees.
Today with our team of 30 loyal, dedicated and professional emloyees, we perform primarily Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional work within 100 miles of our corporate offices located in Oneonta, New York. We perform almost all aspects of the Mechanical and Electric trades including fabrication of our own ductwork in our state of the art computerized facilities. |
